The below images are of digital paintings that I have improved, except for images #3 which i created from scratch, during the latest photoshop tutorial.
The first two images (incomplete) have been inspired by the book excerpts from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
Really like the bottom one, Jeb - it does pay to start off in black and white.
